Duluth, GA Adopts Art Plan

Duluth, Georgia adopted its first-ever Public Art Master Plan tonight (April 13, 2015). Principal Amanda Golden represented Designing Local as the project manager of the plan to the Duluth City Council. Duluth Defined: Art is Duluth. Duluth is Art. A Strategic Public Art Master Plan for Enhancing Economic Growth and Community Character was unanimously embraced as policy. The plan pushes artists to provide locally-inspired art and public infrastructure that will set Duluth, Georgia apart from other communities in the Atlanta region, Georgia, the Southeast, the United States, and the world!
