Art On High: Selection Complete

In October, Designing Local successfully completed their work with the city of Columbus in the administration of the selection of Mark Reigelman as the artist for Art on High.

After completion of the Art on High Strategic Plan, where eight locations were selected as ideal locations within the high street streetscape project, Designing Local and Marc Pally worked to administer the implementation of the strategic plan.

A call for artists was released in late summer and commanded 182 applications. A panel of eight were assembled to review the applications and determine the three finalists that would be invited to submit full proposals.

In mid-October, the three finalists presented their concepts to the selection panel. After much discussion, the panel selected Mark Reigelman as the artist to complete work for the Art on High project.
