Next: San Luis Obispo

Designing Local has begun work for the City of San Luis Obispo, California on its first-ever public art master plan. Our team will work with closely with SLO’s Director of Parks and Public Art, ARTS Obispo, the San Luis Obispo County Arts Council, the local partner of the California Arts Council, and the community to “advance the visual, literary and performing arts through programs that promote public access to the arts, arts in educational settings, local arts planning and collaboration, and opportunities for artists and arts organizations.”

The SLO community has long been known for its forward-thinking expressive arts, and we are excited about the new discoveries and ideas that will emerge over the next months.
