NEXT: SURPRISE ARIZONA ARTS & CULTURE MASTER PLAN

Designing Local has begun work in the City of Surprise, Arizona on the City’s very first Arts & Culture Master Plan. Our team will work closely with city staff and residents to determine the best way to integrate public art and cultural activities into even the most mundane of things. As a city in the rapidly growing Phoenix region, Surprise is looking for opportunities to further define themselves as a community full of energy and creativity. Opportunities are abound in this community of over 125,000 people that hosts Major League Baseball spring training for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. We are excited about the process and to discover new artistic and cultural opportunities with the residents of Surprise.
