Roswell Considers Public Art as Identity in Atlanta Region
Roswell residents gathered last week to share their vision for public art in the context of the city as well as within the Atlanta region. Events included a craft brew night at Gate City Brewing, pop-up events in the parks, workshops at the two local high schools, and a partnership with the Roswell Arts District’s First Friday Art Walk. Participants considered what strategic locations the Roswell Arts Fund should concentrate on first to generate the highest impact, site-specific ideas for gateways, parks, trails, and two upcoming projects funded by TSPLOST, and on how to integrate their unique identity into their public art and policies.
